This light runs off the 12 volt vehicle power. Simple operation, insert hitch mount into 2 in hitch, Plug in power cord in trailer plug, insert pole and light head in hitch mount and extend pole. 12 volt light head that gives off amazing 20,000 lumens of LED light. The plug is a 7 way round standard trailer light connector.
